The Ritual of WoE (Weapon of Eradication) Ritual will enchant up to six Target Bodies, one of which may be the Ritual Caster, with special powers against Undead creatures, especially Vampires. The Ritual of WoE grants different levels of power to destroy Vampires and other Necromantic beings that can be unlocked by increasing the difficulty of the Ritual.
This Ritual Effect also creates a Stake of WoE item for each Target Body. This created item may be used to deliver a Killing Blow on a Vampire and force them to take their Final Death. The Local Plot Committee may decide that certain powerful Vampires are able to survive multiple "stakings".
The Stake of WoE is considered a game item and is subject to the Break and Shatter effects. The Stake of Woe may be used to deliver a Killing Blow Even though the item is not able to be otherwise used in combat. Any item reps and tags will be provided by your Local Plot Committee after a successful casting.
This Ritual Effect is unaffected by any other Ritual Effects (i.e. Permanence, Destroy Magic, etc.). The created items and all Effects will last until the next dawn (6 AM). This Ritual may only be cast after sunset (6 PM).
The Local Plot Committee should be notified in advance of the Ritual casting, so a proper experience may be supplied. Plot Committees may utilize means other than a stake to destroy their setting’s Vampires. In such cases, this Ritual will summon the item appropriate to the campaign to destroy Vampires instead.
Benefits conveyed by the Ritual of WoE include:
This ritual requires a minimum of 4 reagents to cast. Any additional reagents required by the ritual should be of the same types as listed on the ritual scroll.
